I AM NOT HAMAS (SONG FOR GAZA)

I wrote this song in 2023 in response to the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.  All song proceeds go to humanitarian aid for Gaza. The video features photos taken by some of the courageous journalists in Gaza, including Mahmoud Bassam whose image of Samia holding her niece (opening image) inspired my song. Some of the journalists featured have already been intentionally killed since I made this video. The song has been described as “a plea for humanity”, and was awarded Finalist and Outstanding Achievement in the Great American Song Contest, and a Bronze Medal in the Global Music Awards. The music video received a Humanitarian Award of Distinction from the Accolade Global Film Awards, and received four awards from the Impact Docs Awards. The song was a 2024 GRAMMY contender in Best Music Video, Best Alternative Music Performance, Song and  Record of the Year, and  Song for Social Change.
